SPRINGS OF LIFE is a Christian and community based school located in Kiandutu slums (approximately 3km from Thika town), Kiambu county, central province Kenya. The school is fully registered with ministry of education and also as community based organization. Our ultimate goal, has been easing access for  free basic primary education  through other supportive program like school feeding.  We offers Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) from Pre-primary, primary and Junior secondary.

Project beneficiaries

The school targets mainly children from Kiandutu slums, however we have others from nearby localities i.e Athena, Kiganjo, Makongeni and Weteithie.  The learners are aged between 3-15 years, all from different diverse family backgrounds. The school has current enrollment of over 470+learners and 190+ alumnis’.

Meet the teaching team

We have a team of  dedicated teachers, who are passionate in nurturing every learner potential by using compassion in education.  They have all undergone professional training in recognized Teachers training college in Kenya and are registered with Teacher service commission.

Management

The school is managed by board of trustees, with help of Project developer, school administrators and PTA.

The project is supported by charity TABS.  We are also glad to get overwhelming support from the local community and other organization.
